And she danced the weeks away…

 

It all started one week ago on a rainy day…She was just having fun with friends, she was laughing and her thoughts were dancing to the sound of a peaceful Saturday rain…She could lay in the dreams field forever and ever…if only she was allowed to.Yet, she didn’t look away not even for a moment from the beauty of the castle…now images of her being a princess would come back to her memory.Still, she chose to visit the smaller one.And it is true that good things come in small boxes…She still has the image of that in her memory, she prefers it this way.It makes everything much more magical…     It was the road of happiness, filled with soon to be beautiful memories and innocent smiles and plenty of inspiration.It was pretty perfect, if only perfection existed.Dreams would keep flying by captured in rain clouds and whispering in the falling raindrops… The bittersweet taste of fresh cherries and the idea of a new beginning overwhelmed her with emotions…Life can be so beautiful…  And later on, when sky turned black and stars guided our way in search of love, it was time for a little party.Not that Gossip Girl kind of party, but the we all know each other so well and love being together type of party…They all danced to the same rhythm, and it was something she’d never felt before.Weekends do have happy ends, as the skies go by and sun touches everybody’s face and soul, spreading the summer smell into the air… The escapade was over.The endless night and the long balcony enriched her friendships.And her, as a person.It all felt like a new chapter in her life, a closed door she thought that could never be opened.She loved it.In her way.She still has a window in her heart asking to be opened and relive those moments, those happy yet aching at the thought  of the future moments… Life does go on.She had a reading marathon on her way and a party to attend.Dressing up, buying new shoes, planning a  “Yes Week” and, hopefully, seeing “Yes, Man”, tasting different types of drinks, avoiding sweet guys that probably won’t remember her the next day, praying for her grandfather, staying in the coldish night at 2 a.m. to keep company  to a sick friend,then coming home at 3 a.m. to finish her French homework until 4 a.m., wishing “Happy Birthday” and eating too mush junk food, feeling sick at her medical gymnastic hour due to lack of sleep, running through the rain on her way to high school and staying with her bare feet during classes to let the water in her shoes dry… May is over.

Child’s day is right around the corner.

In two years time she won’t be able to say it’s her day too.

Not physically, but in her heart she’ll always be a child.

June is just beginning.

One look up into the night sky and I do pretend that airplanes are wishing stars…

Wow, I can not believe it’s my second outfit post in a month. To be exact, on a Tuesday again.Not that I haven’t tried this last year too, but it still seems awkward. Now, excuse my lack of usual posts, I do not really have the inspiration needed since it has been raining for the last 10 days or so and school life was quite hectic. It’s supposed to be May, but all we get is autumn-like weather. That is the reason why I took the photographs in the balcony…I am so happy to say that I am finished with all thesis, and that there are only 3 weeks (and a half) of school left. It is just the feeling of having enough time to read that most delights me when I think about holiday. A big thank you to my little brother that took part of the photos and endured the cold weather for me.

Also, even if the sky was covered with clouds, the first photograph turned out so bright. I had quite a lot of time thinking if I should brighten the others too or not. In the end, I left them the way they were taken. There is a really big difference. What do you think? Should I make all the same next time? I would love to hear your opinion on this.

I would also have to say that I love this necklace that i bought last week, it reminds me of India (wish I'd go there one day) , especially with that little decorated hand.Do you have like a piece that reminds you of a country or certain place?
